Jamaica has 10 championship courses, some of which are regular stops for the PGA and LPGA tours.

Jamaica has hosted several leading international golf tournaments, including the Johnnie Walker World Championship which was held each mid December at the Tryall Golf Club.  The championship is the richest in golf, with first prize of us $550,000 and a total purse in excess of us $3 million.
